Cepol Course 44/2017 Management of Emergency Situations

10.10.2017

Police officers from all across Europe have gathered together for the CEPOL residential course “Management of Emergency Situations” organized by the University of Rome Tor Vergata – #MasterCBRN

The course started on October 9 and sees the participation of high qualified lecturers form institutions and academy who will provide the students with information and relevant updates on this cutting-edge subject.

The aim of the course is to allow students to familiarize with the initiatives and strategies implemented by the EU in case of Emergency Situations, investigate the possible operative strategies in case of emergency, get to know more on the operative management of emergency situations, risk assessment, strategic planning, and civil protection and more.

To a broader extent, this course represents an opportunity to strengthen and smoothen cooperation of law enforcement personnel, experts, team leaders and first responders operating in the framework of emergency management, and will promote coordination of joint response to cross-border emergencies, as well as effective mutual international support in case of large-scale emergency situations.

We want to thank Dr. Daniele Di Giovanni, course manager, Mariachiara Carestia, Valentina Gabbarini and Riccardo Quaranta for their effort in this task.
