02.22.2018

Dr. Mariachiara Carestia, represented the University of Rome Tor Vergata and the International Master Courses in Protection Against CBRNe Events (#MasterCBRN), during the second Joint Activity of the H2020 project #eNOTICE (#MasterCBRN are a partner of the project, the scientific supervisor of the Project for the University of Rome Tor Vergata is Dr. Daniele Di Giovanni). The activity took place in Nimes, France, on the 30th of January.

During Nimes, joint activity, organized by #ARMINES and #METU, a massive arrival of victims after a CBRNE scenario was performed at Nimes Hospital. The joint activity was prepared by METU and ARMINES. Besides, various EU projects tested their own solution during this activity (e.g. IGNIS - Effective Command project's assessment tool was used for the post-assessment of the exercise, TARGET was also used to assess High Resilient Organisation). Moreover, several EU projects (#INACHUS, #SAYSO, #INPREP, #TARGET, #EUMFH, #FIRE-IN and #eCONFIDENCE) participated to the exercise as observers. The first prototype of METU Serious Game was presented to the partners and their feedback was collected.

During the activity, the first prototype on hospital-based serious game developed by Middle East Technical University (METU) team has been presented. This scenario was built for the joint activity with ARMINES. With AI agents and complex scenarios, it is possible to create new modules for other CBRNe activities and for upcoming eNOTICE joint activities.
