Activity for Melody - H2020 CBRNe project

07.10.2019

Dear colleague,

In the first phase of the MELODY project, the needs of different stakeholders in the area of CBRN training have been gathered and are being analysed. During the meeting that took place at Campus Vesta (www.campusvesta.be/en.html), the MELODY consortium met on the occasion of the first project’s Workshop (June 26-29), where representatives of the European Commission and Stakeholders from across Europe (policy makers, emergency planners, national crisis centre representatives, senior governmental officials, senior police, fire/rescue and medical officials), gathered together to get to know the project and to express their views and suggestions on the implementation of the project’s actions concerning available CBRN training curriculum across the EU and a preliminary outline of a harmonized training curriculum and training methodology for first responders and healthcare personnel.

Dr. Mariachiara Carestia, scientific contributor of the project, attended the meeting to represent our CBRN Master Courses, and the University of Rome Tor Vergata that are partner of this very interesting European project.
