Dear colleagues,

Yesterday we had the pleasure to have an important guest, Prof. Vasilis Vasiliou (Chair of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Yale School of Public Health, University of Yale).

Prof. Vasiliou has been welcomed by Prof. Loredana Santo (Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering) discussing about future cooperation from the two Universities.

Prof. Vasiliou then had the Lectio Magistralis "Advances and Challenges in Environmental and Public Health" . The students of the 1st Level #MasterCBRN course, the reseachers, research fellows and PhD students of the Faculties of Medicine and Enginnering had the chance to folow this interesting lecture and interact with such a great Professor and man. (we will upload the video of his presentation next week).

Prof. Vasiliou then reach the Department of Biomedicine and Surgery (Faculty of Medicine and Surgery) where he met Prof. Leonardo Palombi (Full Professor of Hygiene and Director of CBRNe Master courses). Prof. Palombi has arranged a visit to the laboratories and then a meeting with all his research group to discuss important cooperation about research, education and training.

We want to thank Prof. Vasiliou for his lecture and visit and Prof. Francesco d'Errico (Full Professor of University of Pisa) to let this meeting possible.
