Dr. Luigi Antonio Poggi participated in 4th of February 2016 to the General Assembly of FuseNet (www.fusenet.eu) on behalf of the University of Rome Tor Vergata at the ITER Site (Cadarache, France).

ITER is one of the most ambitious energy projects in teh world today.

35 nations are collaborating to build the world's largest tokamak, a magnetic fusion device designed to prove the feasibility of fusion.

ITER will be a historic step forward on the transition between experimental studies and full-scale fusion power plants

Among its goals:

producing 10 times more energy than what it consumes (Q=10)
mantaining a fusin pulse for up to 480 seconds.
