Master CBRNe @ the Global IoT Summit

CBRNe Master Course Didactic Coordinator, Dr. Andrea Malizia, will partecipate as part of the Technical Program Committeeto the session : IOT IN MEDICAL SCIENCES AND HEALTHCARE of the Global IoT Summit supported by the IEEE.

IoT is one of the key players in shaping modern tech-driven healthcare. Enabling a seamless sharing and communication between several medical devices and stakeholders,IoTstrives to redefine the healthcare systems and cater more efficient and personalized services topeople.

Despite embracing IoT, the area of medical sciences and healthcare also has to overcome several challenges like ensuring safety and security orto deal with the risks in replacing a medical personnel with an intelligent system.

The special session aims to provide a platform of comprehensive discussion on research and innovation related to IoT in the field of medical sciences and healthcare, along with several state of art practices followed in this field. This would also include the aspects of interdisciplinary research enabling IoT in healthcare.

The topics of the session are of a secure interest for CBRNe medical managment and we will present some interesting tool that can be used during the emergency.
