Voyenský Výzkumný Ústav

VVU CZ

Located near Vyškov in the Czech Republic, Voyenský Výzkumný Ústav, s.p. provides access to a World class Field Live Chemical Agent Testing and Training Facility (FLCATF) built on the international CBRN reputation of the Czech Republic.

Live Chemical Agent Training Site (LCATS)

The live chemical agent training site contains a series of buildings and covered areas designed to allow conducting tests and training with live chemical agents.

The working areas consist of specially hardened surfaces resistant to chemical agents, with independent drainage to control contamination and protect the environment. These areas allow chemical agents to be applied to different surfaces and equipment for the conduct of tests and/or training exercises such as detection and decontamination drills.

The LCATS also includes an indoor training area for the conduct of training with inclement weather, or for specialised testing and training in a stable environment.

For analytical training, the FLCATF is equipped with a new, modern laboratory with controlled access to laboratory facilities.
