Module on bio-threats started for the students of the 1st level Master Course

The module on "B agents. Biological Warfare Agents, history, current challenges, properties, and case studies" started this week for the students of the 1^st level of the International Master Courses in Protection against CBRNe Events. During the first day and an half the lectures have been focused on a theoretical introduction to the subject, with contents ranged from the definition of biorisk and biosafety, the history of biowarfare, bioterrorims and biocrimes, to the classification of biological agents and bioweapons.

During the second half and the third day are scheduled lectures delivered with a blended approach, that will mix theoretical and practical activities, with the aim to improve the knowledge and the practical capability of the Master's students.

The Directive Board of the International Master Courses in Protection against CBRNe Events would like to express its gratefulness to the Italian Ministry of Defence and to Capt. Federico Baldassi for their support in this first part of the module.
