NATO School, Oberammergau (DE) - Biological Warfare Defence Awareness Course

The II Level Master Course Attendees have come back from a pleasant International experience in Oberammergau (Germany), where the II edition of M3-81-A-15 NATO School "Biowarfare Awareness Defence Course" took place from the 21st to 25th of September. 

Through this course, participants achieved a basic understanding of current and emerging Biological Warfare (BW) hazards, risks, threats, implications of Medical Countermeasures and legal considerations within the cotext of NATO Biological Defence policy and capabilities.

More than 40 attendees with military and civilian background, from all over the NATO Countries, had the chance to partecipate and find a proactive environment where they excanged information and experiences.

 

The Directive and Scientific Board of the Master Courses in "Protection against CBRNe events" owe a special thank to Captain W. Scott Butler - Commandant of the NATO School of Oberammergau, to Major Andrea Gloria - Course Director, and to all the NATO School Representatives, for this great opportunity and for those that will rise in the future thanks to this preciuous collaboration.
